Why Turkish Cotton?
Turkish Cotton is a premium cotton, chosen for its long fibres, resulting in fewer joins per length. This makes an incredibly strong and smooth cotton, ideal for its durability, softness and therefore use in the domestic market. Turkish cotton gets softer and more absorbent over time.
Most of the towels we stock are made from ring-spun cotton, the premium method of spinning raw cotton fibre into a length of yarn. This method is known to produce incredibly hard wearing cotton and is when the long and short threads are tightly twisted together to create the strongest, smoothest, softest yarn possible.
Turkish cotton is grown in the Aegean region of Turkey, a small but productive area of Western Turkey, known for its coastal beauty.
